Cloning an Assessment in TestTrick

TestTrick allows you to clone any assessment, whether it is active or inactive, to save time when creating similar evaluations. Cloning duplicates all tests, questions, and configurations from the original assessment.

How to Clone an Assessment

1. Navigate to the assessment list on the main screen.
2. Click the three-dots menu on the assessment you want to clone.
3. Select “Clone” from the menu.

Name the Cloned Assessment

1. A modal will appear asking you to enter a name for the cloned assessment.
2. Enter the desired name and click Clone.
3. The cloned assessment will be created immediately.

Status of Cloned Assessment

• The cloned assessment will appear in Inactive state, as a draft.
• You can edit it freely, including tests, custom questions, proctoring settings, and other configurations.

💡 Pro Tip: All tests, questions, and settings from the original assessment are copied automatically, saving time when you need to create a similar assessment for another role or hiring cycle.
