Draft Tests in TestTrick

TestTrick allows you to save tests as drafts while creating them. This helps you pause test creation and resume later without losing your progress.

When a Test is Saved as Draft

  • If you leave the page on Step 1, the test will not be saved automatically.
  • Drafts are only saved when you reach Step 2 (adding questions).
  • After completing Step 2, you can exit or leave and your progress will be saved as a draft.

Accessing Draft Tests

  1. Navigate to the Test Library.
  2. Switch the library to My Company.
  3. Use the Test Status filter and select Draft to view all draft tests.

Managing Draft Tests

From the draft test list, you can:

Edit Draft

  • Open the draft test to continue editing.
  • After making changes, click Save & Finish to move the test to Finished status, making it ready for assessments.

Clone Draft

  • Create an exact copy of the draft test.
  • Useful for creating multiple variations or versions quickly.

Delete Draft

  • Permanently remove the draft test from the library.
  • Use this option carefully, as deleted drafts cannot be recovered.
