Test Resources in TestTrick

Resources allow you to share supporting materials with candidates during a test. These materials help provide context, reference information, or data required to answer questions accurately.

What Are Test Resources?

Test resources are files or materials that you attach to a test, such as:

  • Documents
  • Reference material
  • Problem statements
  • Case studies
  • Data files

Resources are especially useful for case-based, analytical, or open-ended tests.

How to Add Resources

  • In Step 2 (Add Tests), select a test that supports resources.
  • Upload or attach the required resource files for that test.
  • These resources become part of the test within the assessment.

How Resources Appear to Candidates

  • Resources are available on every question during the test.
  • Candidates can click the Resources option at any time.
  • When clicked, the resource will download automatically so the candidate can view it locally.

Resources and Proctoring Behavior

  • If an assessment contains any test with resources, certain proctoring settings are adjusted automatically.

    During Step 4 (Assessment Settings):

    • Tab Proctoring is automatically disabled for that assessment.

This ensures candidates can access the provided resources without triggering false proctoring violations.

When to Use Resources

Resources are ideal when:

  • Questions require reference material
  • Candidates need access to shared documents or datasets
  • You want to simulate real-world problem-solving scenarios

The Resources feature in TestTrick allows you to:
