Managing Questions in a Test

TestTrick allows you to manage questions within a test to ensure the right structure, flow, and relevance. You can view, reorder, edit, or delete questions based on their source.


Viewing Questions


  • You can preview questions exactly as candidates will see them during the assessment.

    This helps you verify:

    • Question wording
    • Options and formatting
    • Overall presentation



Editing Questions


How to Edit a Question


  1. In Step 2 (Add Questions), locate the question you want to edit.
  2. Click the Edit button next to the question.
  3. Make the required changes (question text, options, answers, etc.).
  4. Click Update Question to save your changes.

The updated question will be reflected immediately in the test.


  • Company-created questions can be edited directly within the test.

    You can modify:

    • Question Description
    • Options or answers
    • Time limits
    • Score
    • Test Cases

TestTrick library questions:

    • ❌ Cannot be edited
    • ✔️ Can only be viewed or deleted from the test

This ensures the integrity of standardized TestTrick questions.


Deleting Questions


You can remove any question from the test.


How to Delete a Question


  1. Click the Delete button next to the question.
  2. A confirmation pop-up will appear.
  3. Confirm the action to delete the question.

Sorting and Reordering Questions


  • You can change the order of questions by sorting or rearranging them.
  • This allows you to control the flow and difficulty progression of the test.

To change the order of questions, click and hold (grab) the question you want to move.

  • Drag and drop it to the desired position in the list.
  • Release it to place the question exactly where you want.

The new order is saved automatically and will be reflected in the test as candidates attempt it.
