How to Enable AI Evaluation for Essay & Video Questions


To enable AI evaluation in TestTrick, follow these steps:

Create Or Edit Test

  • Create a new Essay or Video question.
  • Enter the question description clearly.

Generate AI Scoring Criteria

  • Click on Generate Criteria to enable AI evaluation.

  • AI automatically creates scoring criteria based on the question content.

  • Review the generated criteria, edit them and add more criteria if required

Save the question

  • Add test in an assessment.
  • Invite candidates as usual.

How AI Evaluation Works

  • When a candidate submits an essay or video response, AI automatically evaluates the response using the generated criteria. Scores are assigned based on how well the response meets each criterion.

You can review the evaluation details, including criterion-level scores and the total score.

If needed, you can manually adjust the score for a candidate. Any changes apply only to that candidate’s response.
