Sending Assessment Reminder Emails

TestTrick allows you to send reminder emails to candidates who have not yet started or completed their assessment. This helps improve completion rates while avoiding unnecessary or excessive reminders.

When Can You Send a Reminder?

A reminder can be sent only after 24 hours have passed since the assessment invitation was sent.
If the Send Reminder option is disabled in the three-dot menu, it means the 24-hour window has not yet elapsed.

How to Send a Reminder to Candidates

To send reminder emails to candidates in TestTrick, follow these steps:

Open the Assessment

Click on the assessment from active for which you want to send reminder emails.

Go to the Candidates Section

Navigate to the All Candidates section to view the list of invited candidates.

Send Reminder

Sending a Reminder to an Individual Candidate

Go to the candidate list for the assessment.
Click the three-dot (⋮) action menu next to the candidate.
Select Send Reminder (if enabled).

The reminder email will be sent immediately.

Sending Reminders in Bulk

Select multiple candidates from the candidate list.
Click Bulk Actions.
Choose Send Reminders.

Reminders will be sent only to eligible candidates in the selection.

Important Reminder Rules

Reminders are not sent to:
- Candidates who have already submitted the assessment
- Candidates who have already been reminded within the last 24 hours
If no selected candidates are eligible, no reminder emails will be sent.
If a candidate’s assessment link has expired, you can extend the expiry date from the candidate actions. Once extended, you can send a reminder email to allow the candidate to start or continue the assessment.
