Extend the Expiration Date of an Assessment Link

TestTrick allows you to extend the expiration date for candidates who have not completed their assessment and whose link has expired. This helps candidates continue or start the assessment without creating a new invitation.

Steps to Extend Expiration

Open the Assessment

• Click on the assessment from active for which you want to send reminder emails.

Go to the Candidates Section

• Navigate to the All Candidates section to view the list of invited candidates.

Click the three-dot (⋮) menu next to the candidate and select Extend Expiration Date.

A calendar modal will open. Select the new expiration date and confirm.

You can also choose to send a reminder to make the candidate aware of the extended link.

Important Notes

• If “Expire link if candidate exits during assessment” was enabled:
  • Candidates who exited mid-way without submitting cannot resume.
  • Extending the expiration date or sending reminders will not work, as the assessment is considered ended for that candidate.
